PEERS GIVING 2018
by San Francisco Peer Resources

Samantha Sherman
I believe in Peer Resources because Peer Resources gave me an opportunity to see me!
My connection to Peers is as a alumnus/former staff/friend/ally/board member.
I've pledged to give back by raising $200 for Peer Resources to sustain their powerful programs, raising youth as leaders right now, and growing educator leaders for our community. We need Peers to train youth as conflict mediators/so that youth are each other's champions/to fight oppression daily by giving voice to the youth who are most pushed down/to connect youth with role-models in other youth/to support teenagers' social-emotional development/make spaces of connection in schools/to connect youth with future careers in community and education leadership.
Join me in supporting this vital organization for our community! //I'll give $xx to match the same amount from all of you!
Peer Resources changes lives.
Each year, Peer Resources trains and engages 750 low-income youth of color from across San Francisco who begin to see themselves as leaders, make enduring friendships across identities, and advocate for change not just for themselves, but all their peers. Peer Leaders reach 16,000 of their peers a year. Let's make sure this movement keeps going forward!
Empower San Francisco youth as agents of change! Help Peer Resources sustain radical programs to raise youth leaders who transform people and the system with your support this giving season.
Every dollar helps, and anything you can give means another ally standing with youth who are fighting transphobia, resisting institutional racism, and making daily change towards a better world that we all need, adults and youth alike.
Your gift will support city-wide conferences for youth to see that they are not doing this hard work alone, that they are activated alongside hundreds of youth who are collectively pushing for change. Transformative Change Day, Youth Are Resources Conference, and Future Educators Conference bring together over 300 youth annually to build skills and community. Help us provide these platforms for youth voice by giving today!
