Lowell Peer Resources is one of the oldest Peer Resources programs, and it means that Peers has impacted hundreds or thousands of Lowell students: young people trying to figure out who they were, navigating the pressures of school and achievement, learning that there was community where they belonged.
In a school that is the largest high school in San Francisco, where the lack of diversity is a persistent problem, and where youth have all the potential to change themselves, their community, and the world, Peer Resources provides something different and something important.
Part of a larger city-wide community that fights against oppression and towards collective liberation, your support, today, can sustain this incredibly important program and organization.

Youth need meaningful and real opportunities to lead and make decisions,
Our community needs role-models for inspiration and personal transformation,
Peer Resources supports youth by creating space for them to find purpose through service to others
And continues that support after graduation to move forward with adulthood and life, successfully.

Our goal is to raise $20,000 to fund our two youth-led conferences: Transformative Change Day, where high school leaders share their research and plans for action in our community; and the Youth Are Resources Conference, where 200 middle school students lead workshops on the ethics topics of their choice. Both are critical opportunities for youth to take center stage, make their voices heard, and work together and create change.
